Esther Friedrich

Esther is co-founder and partner at MovieBrats.

She is in charge of all things corporate finance and line producer for our film division. Together with Alex she is responsible for script acquisitions and oversees the company’s co-production activities. As producer she is also in charge of our animation and visual effects branch.

Esther graduated from the University of Applied Sciences in Würzburg, Germany with a diploma in media management and as producer of the feature length film IMPURITY. She began her career with first steps at a radio station, at a local TV station and doing press for the International Filmfestival in Würzburg. Other way-points included independent production houses fieber.film in Munich and Berlin-based Schmidtz Katze Filmkollektiv, before she joined forces with Alex to form MovieBrats Filmproduktion in 2009. In late 2010 they got together with other partners to establish MovieBrats Films & Animation.
